Slat walls have been making a splash in One Room Challenge projects for the past few years. They’re popular for good reason, too-- they bring a lot of texture and depth to a room in an incredibly cost effective way. They’re especially perfect if you’re looking to cover a blank wall while still keeping your space relatively minimal.
Slat walls are also very DIY friendly. Your local hardware store can help you cut your slats to size if you don’t have a power saw. From there, all it takes is wood glue and a brad nailer. The slats can be stained or painted to suit your space.
