This stunning guest bathroom space is by Grace Wagenman. Her vision was to create a moody, arty bathroom, and she definitely succeeded. The bright white tile on the floor reflects so much light from the window, which prevents the dark paint from shrinking the space. The gorgeous wood vanity and art pieces round out the space perfectly.
Nicole from Home on Poplar Creek’s guest bedroom makeover is the perfect example of how dark walls don’t automatically make a space darker or smaller. Keeping the ceiling and floor light, highlighting the window with stark white curtains, and choosing light bedding all help to balance the dark walls to create a serene, lovely bedroom for her guests.
Shay Geyer added a fabulous splash of glam to her sophisticated work space with black paint, metallic accents, and pops of color. The black paint she chose has a bit of shine in the finish, which helps to lighten the space and heighten to the glam.
Haneen of Haneen’s Haven decided to transform her living room to match her evolving style, and the before and after really show how versatile dark paint can be. While both definitely feel luxurious, the space before leans more glam, and the space after feels more classic and serious.
